Weekend Activities
This weekend, football is dominating the Tampa Bay sports scene. The South Florida Bulls take on the East Carolina Panthers on Saturday at Raymond James. Tasty Recipes
Our recipe of the week includes a Fall Vegetable Quinoa Soup loaded with fall veggies. Toss together some butternut squash, sweet potatoes, kale, celery, carrots, and tomatoes for a deliciously hearty dish. This week’s cocktail is a Cinnamon Maple Whiskey Sour sweetened with – you guessed it – maple syrup! This seasonal spin on a classic is perfect to kickstart your weekend. Our dessert recommendation this week is a No-Bake Oreo Cream Pie that’s simple, delicious, and the quickest pie you’ll ever make.
TV and Movies
This week check out Shoplifters on Hulu, where you can follow a dysfunctional band of outsiders, united by fierce loyalty and a penchant for petty theft. If you haven’t caught Unorthodox on Netflix, now’s your chance. A Hasidic Jewish woman in Brooklyn flees to Berlin and is taken in by a group of musicians.
