Halloween in Tampa Bay

TAMPA, Fla., – October 30, 2020

BOO! We’re ready for Friday and Halloween with some spooky new movies, recipes, and events in the Tampa Bay area. Weather in Tampa and Fayetteville show a mix of rainy and cloudy days, but Saturday remains partly cloudy in both cities!. In this week’s Tech Talk, you can check out some handy alarm clock tips ahead of Daylight Savings Time.

Halloween Activities

Saturday is the last day to enjoy Creatures of the Night at ZooTampa. The mostly outdoor event showcases new health and safety features to ensure safe family fun! Also, on Saturday, Pinellas Park’s Halloween Treat Trail takes shape as a drive-through event. The city will be giving out over 2,000 pumpkin buckets filled with treats for the kids! Lastly, be sure to check out 42 Last-Minute Halloween Decorations – just in case you need a few!

Tasty Recipes

Our recipe of the week is a delicious Seafood Casserole. Shrimp, lobster, and crabmeat are the shellfish featured in this dish. Serve it with pasta or crusty rolls or garlic bread and a salad! What’s more Halloween than a Melted Witch Martini with vodka, blue curacao, and fruit juice? This cocktail is just as yummy as it is stunning. Lastly, this Halloween Layer Cake has three layers of rich chocolate cake, with orange-tinted Swiss buttercream, a ganache glaze, and Halloween Sweets and Treats sprinkles.

TV and Movies

Celebrate the season with a classic. Catch It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown on Apple TV+ where the Peanuts gang celebrates Halloween and Linus patiently waits for the Great Pumpkin. Looking for binge-worthy TV? Red Oak on Amazon Prime follows an assistant tennis pro trying to figure out his future while working at a country club in suburban New Jersey.

As always, have a wonderful weekend and an even better holiday! Be sure to follow us on social media and check out our website for weekly content like this. Happy Friday and we’ll see you on Monday!
