John Armentrout brings over 36 years of experience serving the Department of Defense, including 28 years within Special Operations Forces (SOF) operational units and at USSOCOM Headquarters. A seasoned leader in technical innovation, John played a pivotal role in standing up J6X and has led the development, management, and resourcing of multiple nonstandard programs of record to support sensitive SOF activities.

At Spathe Systems, John serves as the Principal Solution Architect and Director of Technology, where he leads the development of advanced technical solutions and oversees service delivery in direct support of the DoD. His extensive background and unmatched expertise continue to drive forward Spathe’s mission to support the evolving needs of the SOF enterprise in the 4th Age of Special Operations.
