Spathe Visits Pizzo Elementary for Veterans Day
Being partially a veteran owned company, Spathe always finds exceptional ways to celebrate our past troops for all of their remarkable accomplishments. This year, Spathe’s President, Mark Clifton and Director of Strategic Relations, Arthur “AC” Coley, attended Pizzo Elementary for their special Veterans Day celebration. Pizzo is a Title 1 school located on the campus of the University of South Florida. Hundreds of students greeted Mark and AC (along with some other truly commendable veterans including Global SOF President, Stu Bradin) as they walked through the halls of the school. Kids held up signs, took pictures, and cheered as loud as they could as all the veterans walked by. It was a total dream come true for Mark and AC. “Growing up, my family always encouraged me to see how much of a positive difference I could have on others,” says AC. “Now that I’m retired, going to events like Pizzo’s is really a dream come true. I hope the kids get as much out of it that we do.” We at Spathe take our hats off for Pizzo Elementary and our veterans for establishing such a positive impact on these young children.
