As we wrap up 2024, Spathe Systems reflects on a year filled with remarkable accomplishments, strategic growth, and valuable contributions to the defense and government sectors. From leadership milestones to industry partnerships, we’ve made significant strides in advancing our mission and strengthening our position as a leader in the defense and technology fields. This year has been a testament to the dedication of our team, our commitment to innovation, and our focus on delivering exceptional service to our clients and partners.

 

Milestones in Leadership and Growth

This year, we were thrilled to welcome John Armentrout as our new Principal Solution Architect. With an impressive 36 years of Department of Defense experience, including nearly three decades of work with Special Operations Forces and USSOCOM Headquarters, John’s expertise has already made a significant impact on our organization. We also took pride in celebrating Dr. Mark Clifton, Spathe Systems’ President, who earned his Doctorate in Business Administration. Dr. Clifton’s academic achievement is a reflection of our leadership’s dedication to continuous learning and a commitment to excellence, both in business and in serving our clients.

 

Expanding Strategic Partnerships

2024 was a year marked by the expansion of key strategic partnerships that enhanced our service offerings and allowed us to reach new heights in delivering mission-critical solutions. We proudly formed a joint venture with SE2S, called Spathe Strategic Solutions, designed to strengthen our capabilities and further our commitment to supporting our defense and government clients. This new venture has already proven to be an essential asset, expanding our ability to provide innovative solutions across multiple sectors. Additionally, we forged a partnership with PVM, which will accelerate our growth in workforce modernization, a key focus for Spathe Systems. We also strengthened our collaboration with CACI, playing a pivotal role in advancing AFRICOM’s Azure Cloud initiatives. This collaboration is helping modernize the defense infrastructure for the United States Africa Command, showcasing our deep expertise in cybersecurity and cloud computing.

 

Strengthening Community Engagement

Community engagement continues to be a cornerstone of our values at Spathe Systems. In February, we participated in the Hiring Our Heroes event at Busch Gardens, where we connected with military spouses and shared our open positions and support programs. This event reaffirmed our commitment to supporting the military community and providing career opportunities to those who have served. We also had the honor of hosting Army veteran Donat Brown through the University of South Florida’s Veteran Success Program, where we facilitated a valuable discussion on transitioning from military to civilian careers. Our involvement in the local community didn’t stop there. We also participated in the Tampa Mayoral Inauguration, reinforcing our commitment to being an active and engaged member of the Tampa Bay community.

 

Honors and Recognitions

 

Throughout the year, Spathe Systems was honored with several awards and recognitions that underscore our commitment to excellence. For the third consecutive year, we were proud to receive the HIRE Vets Platinum Medallion Award, a recognition of our continued dedication to hiring veterans and providing them with the resources and development opportunities they deserve. We also hit a significant milestone in our digital presence, surpassing 5,000 social media followers, which is a testament to the growing interest in our work and the strong community we’ve built online. These honors reflect our ongoing efforts to lead with integrity and foster a culture of excellence in everything we do.

 

Innovation and Impact in Action

Innovation was at the heart of many of our accomplishments in 2024. One of the standout moments was our participation in enhancing cyber capabilities alongside industry experts like Darcy Cocoran. Through these collaborations, we’ve been able to bolster our cybersecurity services and ensure we remain at the forefront of technological advancements. Another key achievement was our success in securing the GSA OASIS+ SDVOSB contract, which has opened new opportunities for us to provide mission support, C5I systems, and workforce modernization services to government clients. This contract is a significant milestone in our growth, offering us the chance to expand our reach and continue delivering top-tier services to defense and government agencies.

 

Building a Legacy

At Spathe Systems, we are deeply committed to honoring the legacy of those who have served and made a lasting impact on our country. In 2024, we had the privilege of hosting representatives from Triple Nikel to honor Medal of Honor recipient SFC Alwyn Cashe. This event highlighted our respect for military heroes and their contributions, and it served as a reminder of the importance of supporting those who have dedicated their lives to service. Additionally, we continued to advocate for diversity and inclusion in defense by attending the Women In Defense Tampa Chapter Luncheon. There, we engaged in important conversations about the future of SOF acquisitions and the critical need for diverse voices in defense leadership.
