SPATHE Teams Up with CACI to Advance AFRICOM’s Azure Cloud Initiatives
SPATHE, in collaboration with CACI, is pleased to announce its pivotal role in supporting the United States Africa Command’s (AFRICOM) Azure cloud efforts. This partnership marks a significant step towards modernizing AFRICOM’s infrastructure through cutting-edge cloud technologies. In tandem with CACI, Spathe Systems is spearheading the development of robust pipelines for the creation of applications and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The primary objective is to establish NoOps (No Operations) environments that are fully automated and abstracted from underlying infrastructure complexities, thereby streamlining management and administration tasks.
Specifically, Spathe Systems will focus on implementing Terraform NoOps provisioning for critical Azure services, including the Azure Container Registry (ACR), Azure Key Vault (KV), and Azure Recovery Services Vault (ARSV). Additionally, the collaboration will entail leveraging Ansible automation to seamlessly pull source images from the Ironbank into the Azure Container Registry (ACR).
One of the key features of these implementations is the utilization of Environment Variables and Configuration Parameters. These elements ensure that the developed code can be seamlessly deployed across various environments without necessitating modifications to the source code. This approach not only enhances efficiency but also fosters portability, enabling the IaC to be effortlessly migrated to different compute environments for further utilization or development.
“We are thrilled to join forces with CACI to support AFRICOM’s Azure cloud initiatives. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies and best practices in cloud computing, we aim to revolutionize AFRICOM’s infrastructure, empowering them to achieve greater agility, scalability, and operational efficiency.”
